YATELEY

Husband and wife team, James and Simone Brooks, run the Aldershot & Farnham classes of Phoenix Martial Arts at All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham and Unit24 Fitness Centre in Aldershot. Their classes are structured to provide an evolving experience to ensure that students are constantly challenged and will never get bored.

Senior Instructor, James, has been training with Phoenix since 1992 and holds a 4th degree black sash in Kung Fu and a 1st Dan black belt in Kickboxing.  James started teaching his own classes in 2007.

Club instructor, Simone, holds a 3rd Degree black sash in Kung Fu having started training in 2007 and started teaching her own classes in 2010.

Both instructors are Cimac Superleague champions and have competed successfully over the years in both point fighting and light-continuous sparring in the UK and internationally.  They are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience to develop a new generation of martial artists.

The classes follow the Kung Fu grading syllabus but also incorporate various aspects of the Kickboxing style. The lessons are both physically challenging and technically orientated. Students are encouraged to develop their martial arts skills, improve their fitness, and become the best that they can be.
